Fundraiser Mailer & Social Campaign for Homeless & Foster Youth
John Burton Advocates for Youth (JBAY) approached PMCS in early 2023 to develop a print & social campaign to raise funds for their Critical Needs & Opportunity Fund (CNAOF). JBAY’S CNAOF campaign seeks to raise funds, annually, for homeless and foster youth who have an emergency situation or unique opportunity costing money that is beyond their monthly budget. Like many young people, homeless and foster youth also hit “bumps in the road” of life - and often without a familial safety net. To embellish this concept, we decided to create a long, unfolding mailer that felt almost like a roadmap. In addition, PMCS worked with the team at JBAY to strategize the language and hashtag #IDidMoreGood - working it into social posts and campaign collateral. The audiences who donate to JBAY often know they are supporting systems-change efforts, but this campaign is unique - 100% of these funds go directly into the pocked of foster youth. While most of their funders donate annually, this fund is a unique opportunity to do a little more good. Donation mailers included a fun / bright sticker with the hashtag in hopes of continuing to raise awareness for the campaign. For this effort PMCS did the following:
